I live 90 minutes away from the store. I got the i7-13700k bundle on Wednesday. But it wasn't until Friday that I was able to dig into it. That was when I discovered that there was a broken pin on the motherboard socket. So, I showed up at the store when they opened at 10am. A salesman helped me find a new replacement motherboard and walked me to the front, where another lady took the broken one and did the exchange with management approval. I was back in my car by 10:08am. Very quick and no issues. Staff was great.
Lesson learned, though. If it isn't sealed (many motherboards are NOT, as I discovered), check it out before you leave the store.
Side note, I also picked up a Lian Li 218 on Wednesday. It was a delight to build with. Quality case and packaging. Even a parts box. So much nicer to build with than the cheap cases I've done my past several builds with. You DO get what you pay for.
I have something on reserve at the Marietta store (also at St Louis Park) and I'm hoping to call the store to have it shipped to me but there are no phone numbers to be found. Can anyone help?
