Hi Souravbswas4,
Thanks for posting in our community.
As your description, you have registered a trial account, but you cannot download Office 365 for business standard from www.office.com.
It seems that you do not have license to download the Office.
If you register account just now, you should wait for a while, it could take some time to change the setting.
If not we suggest you go to Subscription from this page you provided.
Then please check if you have the license with The latest desktop of Office.
If you do not have, you should assign the license to this account.
If you have, you can also reassign the license again. And here are the steps.
- Please go to www.office.com and sign in with your admin account.
- Go to admin center->Users -> Active users->click the account you are using.
3. Then add the licenses for this account.
4. Please Save changes and sign in again after a while to check if you can download.
Please post back if problem persists and give us some screenshots about your subscription, we will try our best to help you.
Regards,
Jason

Hello @Josh Reeder
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum. I’d be happy to help clarify how this works and guide you through the next steps.
Microsoft 365 subscriptions purchased via the Company Store are typically linked to a personal Microsoft account or a new business tenant. Meanwhile, email addresses set up through GoDaddy are managed under a separate Microsoft 365 infrastructure, which means:
- You cannot directly transfer a license from your personal Microsoft account to a GoDaddy-managed tenant.
- You cannot sign in to the GoDaddy account using your Microsoft employee credentials, as they belong to different systems.
However, here’s what you can do to use your subscription with your side business:
- Create a new Microsoft 365 tenant using the license you purchased.
- Sign in at https://admin.microsoft.com with your Microsoft account.
- Follow the setup steps to create a new organization.
- Add your GoDaddy domain to the new tenant (if you still own it).
- You can verify and connect your domain by updating DNS records.
- Guide: Set up Microsoft 365 Business Standard with a domain
- Create a new user account under your domain and assign the license to it. This allows you to use your business email with the new subscription.
Optional: Migrate data from your GoDaddy account
If you had emails or files in the old account, you may need to manually export and import them.
Important Notes
- Licenses purchased outside of GoDaddy (e.g., via Company Store) cannot be applied to GoDaddy-managed tenants.
- If your domain is still tied to GoDaddy, you may need to contact GoDaddy support to release or migrate it.
I hope the information above is helpful to you. If you need any further assistance, feel free to let me know!

I am pleased to report that we have had success in validating our domain. It then asked me to log out and sign back in with [******@thekeys2prosperity.com] using my admin password. I receive the following error when trying to complete that next step.

Message: AADSTS50020: User account '******@thekeys2prosperity.com' from identity provider 'https://sts.windows.net/3dfe3802-884c-417a-a412-e9fc7b96ad7d/' does not exist in tenant 'thekeys2prosperity.com' and cannot access the application 'd3590ed6-52b3-4102-aeff-aad2292ab01c'(Microsoft Office) in that tenant. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Sign out and sign in again with a different Azure Active Directory user account.
Any idea on how to best proceed at this point and get my josh.reeder account re-associated with my domain?
Warm Regards,
Josh Reeder
