If you are trying to enter in a consultant company, or a high tech company, maybe is not sufficient, otherwise, if you are trying to enter in the real job market, is a nice cert to have. Definitely a massive YES, any qualification is good. Lots of people still don't take the jump to study or take exams so even if it's a fundamentals course it can stand you out from the crowd.

I never thought that I will take the certification exam for DP 900 and never felt a need for the same for the last 18-20 years in my data architecture/engineering career. But of late, the data engineering/data architect job has become so competitive that you need some certifications to show that you are worthy of job especially since AI has made it very easy to cut/paste and show advanced skills on your profile.
