Hi Vincent, I don't think that the OP's question was vague at all. In any event the maximum licences for M365 Business Basic (Identity, access, and user management for up to 300 employees) and M365 Business Standard (Everything in Business Basic, plus:) and Microsoft 365 Business Premium is (Everything in Business Standard, plus). Compare Microsoft 365 Plans | Microsoft 365 And the OP specifically asked: "How many users can be licensed on one MS 365 Business Premium License?" AND the answer is 300.

Hello Mohau Dolwana,
Thank you for your question regarding Microsoft 365 Business Premium licensing.
Each Microsoft 365 Business Premium license is assigned to a single user. However, that user can install and activate Microsoft 365 apps on up to 5 devices simultaneously. This includes a combination of PCs, Macs, tablets, and smartphones.
If you have multiple users, each individual will need their own license to access the full suite of features included in Microsoft 365 Business Premium, such as email, cloud storage, and advanced security tools.
For example:
- If you have 10 users, you will need 10 Microsoft 365 Business Premium licenses.
- Each of those 10 users can install Microsoft 365 apps on up to 5 devices.

Dear Leanna Baitinger,
Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community.
To answer your question, to use premium options in webinars, such as adding detailed customization and advanced features, you will indeed need Teams Premium in addition to your 365 Business Premium with Teams subscription. Teams Premium licenses are not a replacement for Teams licenses. Users must have both a Teams license and a Teams Premium license for Teams and Teams Premium features to work properly. Therefore, Teams Premium is an add-on license that enhances the Teams experience with more personalized and intelligent meetings, webinars, and town halls. Team license that included in your Microsoft 365 business Premium subscription has a basic Teams feature. So, Teams Premium offers additional functionalities like branded meetings, organizational backgrounds, advanced meeting protections, and more. You can refer to Microsoft Teams Premium licensing - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn and Plan for Teams webinars - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn.
If you have any other question or need further clarification, please feel free to let me know.
Thank you for your precious time. Have a great day.

We are trying to decide which version of 365 to go with, either Premium or Standard. If we are using our own AV solution (BD or CS), what are we losing out on with sticking to Business Standard? (We do want to use Azure AD for users and for an admin account)
Greetings all! I've been chatting with a person who works at a company with approx 40 users. At first they purchased M365 Business Standard licenses - then they switched all the users to Office 365 E3 as they thought it was required for an Accounting application - it wasn't.
So I feel that they will do better with M365 Business Premium as a good fit with SMB's - yes that will reduce that mailbox size from 100GB to 50GB but they're all well below 50GB and have archiving turned on.
Did a lot of research...comparing the features...also had a look here - mind you dated July 2023: https://m365maps.com/matrix.htm#010001000000000000000
Now the costs are comparable....as purchased those O365 E3 licenses before those recent license changes.
So I'm trying to point out the advantages of switching to M365 Business Premium.
My understanding is that M365 BP provides advanced security features and better device/app management and provides for a less complex environment to support. Thinking of their needs also on that side as their current IT folks are new to M365 (no comment!) ;-) ....so I am not always available to assist.
M365 Business Premium will also provide their Compliance and Governance needs when they're ready to go there.
Am I missing something here? Any there any other pro's associated with that M365 Business Premium subscription vs O365 E3?
Many thanks in advance!
Cheers!
