So I really don't understand what Windows has going on here but I have 1 account on my machine, it's me, and I'm the sole administrator. It takes a password at login screen which I understand to be my local account password. In trying to change said password I go:
Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options > Password
and click Change however it opens up a window to change my Microsoft account password which is linked to that account.
Control Panel > User Accounts will show me my account but the only thing I can do in the way of changing anything is Change your account type (from administrator to standard or visa versa which is disabled anyway as I'm the sole user and therefore the administrator).
I was also told to try Computer Management > System Tools > Local Users and Groups but Local Users and Groups doesn't exist there. My OS is Windows 10
Even when I logout back to the login screen and click forgot password under the actual input field that is looking for my local account password and follow the steps to reset, it resets my Microsoft account password!! The thing is crazy.
