MS Defender E3 is going to be just as if not more powerful than Bitdefender. Defender's Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) features are top-tier and comparable closest to Crowdstrike's EDR. The biggest problem with Defender is that it's not very friendly to get all the features out of it. It can do the things you want like content (browser) filtering, ransomware protection, attack surface reduction, automated malware response, etc....but you'll find you have to go to a bunch of screens to toggle things on or configure them. So if your stack is already leaning towards MS365, then having a next-gen AV that synergizes with everything else and allows for centralized management might be beneficial. More on reddit.com
