Factsheet
Apple has iBooks, Google has Google Play Books, Amazon has Kindle, and so on... Can someone tell me why Microsoft doesn't have a flagship ebook reader for Windows? It seems like something so basic to have.
I'm only really looking for a reader that:
-
can read all the major ebook file formats
-
allows me to bookmark and save notes and highlights
-
has TTS with speed control (the latest Microsoft natural voices would be a huge plus)
I have tried out a ton of the ebook apps on the Microsoft store. Most are just terribly designed, and many are no longer being updated. And besides, it just makes no sense to me to have to put up with ads just to read a book on my computer.
Am I crazy, or asking for too much? Surely I'm not the only guy that would like to read on my Windows computer?
