I 100% agree with you on this. I was also keen to start using this, but find you are unable to manually add passwords (unless you create a CSV file every time). It also seems to be geared towards inputting passwords on websites and not apps, and there is no random password generator. I went back to LastPass. More on reddit.com

I've been doing some research on these password managers and I've seen that many say that saving passwords in the browser is not secure, but Edge apparently has a built-in manager that keeps passwords encrypted, what do you recommend? Is it better to use a password manager?Can I save my credit card details and passwords in Microsoft Edge?

I would assume it is safe, but a dedicated password manager app offers more convenience and options to store different kind of confidential data, like your creditcard or passport information. It's also easier to use on your phone with a dedicated mobile app. Try out Bitwarden as it is free for personal use and is very easy to use.
