I would take the corporate housing, it’s really nice and worth wayyy more than $7000. If you want a micro studio, you might be paying more than you think. Also, you might have to pay for an extra month as well (when I was looking into apartments, my internship began May 25 and ended August 16, and one of the places would’ve charge me for May, June, July, and August because they don’t prorate). You’ll probably have to buy furniture as well. So I think your costs could def be over what you’re anticipating. Also the housing will not look as nice as it does in pictures, so be prepared for that as well. Save yourself the stress and get corporate housing, in past years it’s been at a the Marriott in the university district. The university district has a great social scene, there’s free breakfast every morning, and a lot of stuff is taken care of for you (also the rooms come with kitchens). More on reddit.com

I recently accepted an offer from Microsoft for a Product Design internship and have no clue what to expect. I will be at Microsoft HQ in Redmond Washington, and the offer letter details most of the logistical information. I am curious though, anything I should consider or any tips for getting the most out of the internship? I have worked at a mid-scale company before but this is the first time moving into "big tech." Any thoughts or feedback would be appreciated!
