Ack! I created the incorrect title, should be Outlook 2021 and M465/E1 plan
I have two licenses:
Office 2021 via a work Developer account
Microsoft 365, E1 (Outlook/Exchange, no software but web apps).
So ... I haven't been able to 'send' emails from my M365 account all of a sudden. This was consistent for about a week.
Here's the big problem: M365 support refused to support Exchange with Outlook. Their attitude was that because I was on the E1 plan, I was to use Web apps only.
Did Microsoft change the rules? That's a HUGE change considering Outlook (New) purports to handle Exchange.
Why purchase a Stand alone Office 2021 license if one if it's apps doesn't work with Online Exchange anymore?
I also notice that under 'my apps' on the E1 plan, Outlook 2021 is no longer available as a download.
Seems absurd to me. Has anyone else had this problem?
P.S. Oddly enough, yesterday it started working "Magically"

Office 2019 activation issue
Via a Microsoft account? I realize this might seem like a silly question, but is this an Office 365 business shop, or are you paying for Office Professional and applying it to a personal Microsoft account? Are your users "logging in" to their [email protected] (or similar non-microsoft) accounts?
How did you purchase them? From which portal did you login to assign the licenses? Where are you installing Office from, exactly?
If none of those questions make sense or don't sound familiar, it's cool; I just want to know where you're at so that I can try and offer you the most correct advice.

Do you use M365? If so, try Outlook on the Web. It's cleaned up a lot since late 2019 so I now use it daily instead of the desktop app.
