Is it legal to download Microsoft Publisher for free?
Disappointed, disappointed. I pay for MS365 and only use the Publisher sector because it provides what I need for what I do. I create plans for card cut out models of various historical buildings, and publisher is so versatile yet uncomplicated. I have created hundreds of models which occasionally may need adjustment which Publisher allows as required. Word and PowerPoint is not as straightforward, I too hate change when change is not necessary, why not just leave it be. If I change my files to a PDF they are no longer adjustable. I'm very sorry Microsoft but when publisher goes, my fee goes. Please give this matter a lot more thought It's like giving somebody a Rolls Royse and then taking away the engine!!! Publisher is my engine.

I and our CPA practice have used Microsoft Publisher for many years. We see no reason for Microsoft to not continue the support of this valuable software. It will take many hours to convert our invoices and many other documents over to Word or some other program. Please reconsider and continue this Publishing software.

The Office 365 should come with publisher app.
are you sure that it doesn't installed already?
Hi Kae, In the Windows Search box type>Publisher (This will bring up the Publisher App) Right click on it and choose>Pin to Start>Then Pin to taskbar (you may need to click on More). Only on Microsoft 365 for PC.

Sorry for the inconvenience. However, Microsoft Publisher is part of Microsoft 365 apps but for PC (Windows) only.
What device do you have? Have you installed Microsoft 365 apps?

I know Publisher is not as powerful as InDesign. I know Publisher is not as easy as Canva. However, Publisher is a fairly robust desktop publishing app for people who need it, with a relatively gentle learning curve.
I used Publisher regularly for over 20 years. I only recently started using InDesign out if necessity. But Publisher is still what I show people at work who need more flexibility than Word and more control than programs like Canva and Adobe Express.
I have not used Microsoft Designer yet, but it seems to be going after Canva's market rather than the professional designer.
