Running windows 11 arm 22621.2215 install and the microsoft store app has disappeared. Using windows key and entering "microsoft store" brings up a hit that when you click it runs a troubleshooter process that doesn't resolve issue. I've tried the following search results suggested solutions and none of them has worked.
run "Check for updates" and apply them if offered
Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /Restorehealth
WsReset.exe
Get-AppxPackage -allusers *WindowsStore* | Remove-AppxPackage followed by Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers Microsoft.WindowsStore* | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
download and install the xbox app and lauch it and wait for it to display prompt to install missing microsoft store app dependency which never happened on my setup
Any suggestions on another option that is known to work?

Hello YvesB,
I'm John an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you. I understand you have a problem with Microsoft store.
**Check your Antivirus might be interfering with the Store, Try to disable it first.
**Make sure Windows has the latest update
Select Start , then select Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates
**Check your time and location settings
Select Start , then select Settings > Time & Language. Select Date & time to verify your time settings and select Region to check your location. These settings need to show your current location and time zone.
**Check the Microsoft Store Install Service
Press the Windows Key + S and type in services.msc.
Find the Microsoft Store Install Service and double=click,
If Disabled, change it to Automatic, click Start and click OK.
**Run the troubleshooter:
Select the Start button, and then select Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot, and then from the list select Windows Store apps > Run the troubleshooter.
**Reset the Microsoft Store cache
Press the Windows Logo Key + R to open the Run dialog box, type wsreset.exe, and then select OK.
Note
A blank Command Prompt window will open, and after about ten seconds the window will close and Microsoft Store will open automatically.
**Reset the Microsoft Store app in Windows 10
Open Settings.
Go to Apps -> Apps & features.
On the right side, look for Microsoft Store and click it.
The advanced options link will appear. Click it.
On the next page, click on the Reset button to reset Microsoft Store to default settings
Uninstall the Store:
Press Windows key + X
Click and Run Windows PowerShell as Administrator
type: get-appxpackage -alluser Microsoft.WindowsStore
then take note the PackageFullName (we need it later)
Now Type: remove-appxpackage PackageFullName(you take note earlier)
Enter then proceed to reinstall Store
Reinstall the Store:
Press Windows key + X
Click and Run Windows PowerShell as Administrator
At the command prompt, copy-paste the following then hit Enter:
Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
Launch again your MS Store
If it doesn't work, Please try to create a new administrator account then check if Microsoft is working there. Note: You may try to install microsoft there using the Powershell commands.

If still doesn't work, Please try to Perform a Repair Install of Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade. It will definitely help in resolving update errors. Performing this can repair broken operating system files while preserving your personal files, settings and installed applications. The in-place upgrade will also bring you the latest Windows update.
**Few things to check on the PC
Ensure you are signed in or have administrator rights to do a repair install
Unplug all external peripherals except for the Mouse, Keyboard, and LAN cable before starting
Disable or uninstall any 3rd party Anti-Virus program to prevent it from interfering with the upgrade
Please NOTE: You don't need to follow the instructions to turn off Secure Boot
Repair Install of Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any further concerns.

Hi John,
Thanks for your reply.
I must at start specify I configured Windows to work with a Local Account. I hate to have to enter a password every time I use my Desktop PC since I am to only one to use it.
I have follow each of your steps and here are my findings:
- I could successfully complete every steps up to: Reset Microsoft Store app. When I fo into Apps & Features, the Microsoft Store is missing despite it is now present in the Start Menu but NOT working
- In the Uninstall Store using PowerShell, the first command works but the secons aborts. I don't know why. You will find below a screenshot of what seems to me an error message.
I stopped there fearing to corrupt my PC.
Can you help me further?
Thanks,
Powershell would be the solution.
Press Windows key + X to open the power user menu.
Select Windows PowerShell (Admin) from the list.
In the PowerShell window, copy and paste the following command:
Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers Microsoft.WindowsStore* | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
Thank you for the reply! I ran the command in admin Powershell as you indicated, but got no acknowledgement of it doing anything after running. I ran a restart afterwards and unfortunately appears that the Microsoft Store is still missing.
