Looking for a plugin or built in feature to better organize team chats. At any given time we may have 20+ going with outside contractors around development. These chats can include anywhere from 2 to 8 participants. Usually a Dev, an Admin, Business Analyst, and a PM. It is not uncommon that tickets get stalled for days due to confusion around who is responsible for the next steps especially if those next steps are to be handled outside of the chat in question.
I looking for a way to pin a standardized template at the top that we are required to keep updated. Very basic such as estimated completion date, are there any blockers, etc. I know you can pin individual chats but you can only pin one at a time, formatting is out of our control, and you are reliant on who did the pinning. Was hoping for something like a sticky note feature but within the Chat area of Teams. Think a banner that is always at the top with the relevant informaiton.
I fully recognize this should be done outside of chat through Jira or another application but right now I am just looking for baby steps to build good habits. Hoping someone has an idea as I've gone through and watched videos on about 30 plugins none of which give us what we need. Seems basic but also seems like it would be incredibly beneficial so surprised it doesn't already exist.
