I am able to start Excel, but Onedrive app is not working. How to get it done for this mac version
Hi Ed Dzik,
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
You can certainly install Office on High Sierra 10.13.6. However, since the latest version of Office only supports the most recent three macOS operating systems to receive the latest security updates, and High Sierra 10.13.6 is relatively old, you can only install an older version of Office.
Office for Mac version 16.43 is the last version that supports macOS High Sierra 10.13.6. I have found the download link for you: https://officecdn.microsoft.com/pr/C1297A47-86C4-4C1F-97FA-950631F94777/MacAutoupdate/Microsoft_Office_16.43.20110804_BusinessPro_Installer.pkg
If you also wish to find download links for each version of Office for Mac, you can find them here: Update history for Office for Mac - Office release notes | Microsoft Learn
Please ensure that your account has the corresponding Office license. I hope the information and link I've shared will enable you to successfully install Office on your Mac, and I look forward to your reply!

I have tried install via the link provided. I have purchased the office license . I tried to use office XL and it won't save the spread sheet. rebooted the system and reopened Xl and it will not save the spread sheet. What do I do?
I have a Microsoft office 365 account, but I couldn’t download the apps from the app store because I’m running Sierra.
Hello
I’m Adeyemi and I’d be happy to help you with your question.
I understand your situation. It seems that the latest versions of Microsoft Office require macOS 10.14 or later. However, you should be able to use Office apps with version 16.43 or below on High Sierra.
Here's how you can install it:
- Visit the [Update history for Office for Mac] page. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdates/update-history-office-for-mac
- Scroll to find the 16.43 version.
- Download the package and install it.
Please note that after macOS 12.0, Microsoft supports the Office apps on macOS 10.15 Catalina or later, and if you want to continue with an older version of macOS, your Office apps will still work, but you'll no longer receive any updates including security updates
I hope this helps

This is great. It worked perfectly! Thanks so much for your help and for all the information. I understand that older models and versions of OS become out of date and are no longer supported, just very happy with my 2 items (MacBook Pro & iMac) that are still in great working order, so no need to upgrade hardware just yet:)
Thanks again so much for your help, it is much appreciated and a perfect reference for anyone else looking or having similar issues.
