With such a short torso, high rise jeans look tacky on me. But I struggling to find mid-rise jeans that aren’t skinny jeans😩

I love the fit of the Abercrombie ankle straight jeans, but hate how high waisted they are.

Any leads on my unicorn pair?? Ideally:

• 25” inseam, but could do up to a 26.5” if everything else about them was perfect!

• Mid-Rise

• I prefer at least a little stretch

• Somewhere with a storefront or an online shop with easy/flexible return policy

• $50-$75 is most ideal, but would go $100ish for an amazing pair!

• I am open to other styles of jeans besides straight leg. I don't love overly baggy jeans though and definitely don't want skinny jeans!

For reference, my Abercrombie size is 29, extra short in curve love. I am 5’0” and 132lbs, carrying most weight in my belly

Old Navy Mid rise OG Straight Ankle These are the lighter, ripped pair. More of a straight/slim fit, which you can definitely see through the hips. Wearing a 6 petite in these as well. Abercrombie Ultra High Waisted Ankle Straight (Curve Love) These are the lighter non ripped pair. Also a bit tighter through the hips. Wearing a 29/8 in the curve love style in a short length (The extra short was a bit too short and more of an ankle length on me). So soft, and you cannot beat Abercrombie jeans if willing to pay that for them. If they weren’t as high rise as they are, I would buy a couple more. Garment measures a 24.5” inseam and 12” front rise.

• 27” inseam from crotch to ankle bone

• Waist 34.5”

• Hips 40”

• Around belly button 36”

• Middle of thigh 21”

Hello all! I was hoping I could find some specific brand recommendations for women's midrise or slim jeans.

For context I am a very slim and somewhat androgynous style man (hoping me posting here is allowed!) I am yet to find any fit I like better than women's jeans when I find that perfect pair, but finding the perfect pair is difficult.

What I'm looking for: -a brand that carries around a size 6 (regular or long inseam, not looking for crop)

-Midrise and can be worn at/near the top of the hips (right around 9 inch rise is perfect. Lowrise has obvious issues as a man and high rise of 10 inches or higher just don't look good on me)

-slim or skinny fit. Tight is fine by me.

-nothing insanely feminine -- ie not like covered in floral, rhinestone, etc. I'm looking for something that could probably pass as just extremely tight men's jeans if you didn't look close.

For reference the jeans I have found that are perfect are Boyish - The Donny, a midrise skinny from White House black market, and the jeggings from American Eagles ae77 line
