August 28, 2021What do you think about the recent AI art advancement (midjourney, Dall-E, Stable Diffusion) and its effect on photography?
I think it's a good tool to use for mood boards or helping create a visual of what you want your project to look like. I worked with a model and I made some posing visuals in MidJourney and was able to even include the clothing colors, types, and even different body types. The downsides are the system is not perfect and can create wildly different results even with the exact same prompts/settings. From this angle, you can almost see it as long term slot machine playing: pay money up front, spin the (AI) wheel, and pray for a good result. When you get a good result, you'll be tempted to play more. More on reddit.com
