June 30, 2025 - I got the midi Emmy and I used it a lot. If I could redo it I would get a smaller version. I hate lugging the bag around now (baby is 6months) and I’ve replaced it with a smaller bag for day to day. ... I’ve loved all of my Mina Baie bags. I started with a leather Amelia (discontinued style), switched to a full sized nylon Emmy, and now use a Roe belt bag.

I’m a first time mom and looking for a diaper bag the only thing I don’t care for (which I know will sound dumb) is how big diaper bags are. I guess I’m underestimating how much ima have to bring with me for my baby but I have always been a small bag girlie, the only thing I carry is my card wallet and cell phone 95% of the time. I came across Mina baie and I love the size selection I’m currently looking at the Emmy bag but can’t decide between the midi and mini. The midi still looks huge to me and the mini looks great, it’s a decent size and looks spacious. I anticipate having to bring diapers, wipes, bottle , milk, changing pad, extra clothes which from review videos will all fit. Anybody else use any mini Mina baie bags and does it workout or will I need the extra space

I have a Mina Baie the midi size which I’m guessing is the standard bag size? It’s uncomfortable to wear and bulky. We use a diaper backpack way more often. I admit I fell in love with the Mina Baie for its looks but unfortunately it just sits in the trunk rarely carried anywhere without complaints about it.

I don’t have one but following this as I’m still deciding on which one to buy. I was considering the Coach or Kate Spade ones because of their looks but I’m a practical girl who at most carries a crossbody fanny pack so idk if they will work for me. Mina baie looks nice and I see it all over my TikTok. I have the same hesitation about it being too big 🫠

I am wanting to splurge on this beautiful bag (in the full size as I’m an overpacker) after hearing so many good reviews. However truly cannot decide between the vegan leather or the nylon. I don’t live in the US so I’m a bit nervous about getting it right the first time as the shipping is very expensive!
Can anyone that has experienced either give me an opinion?

I had a vegan Stevie and hated the material. Tok heavy, awkward when hung on stroller and since it had no give, I couldn’t stuff it really. Gave it away and got a nylon and it was so much better! I have the nylon Emmy too and it’s light and useful. My sister got the leather Emmy midi and complains that it’s too heavy. The vegan wild probably be heavy on that too.

So I’m looking for diaper bags, this’ll be my first, and I’m due in December.
Does anyone have the Mina Baie Emmy? I’m debating whether the nylon is worth it over the vegan leather version.
Vegan leather concerns me because I hate how shiny it can sometimes look after some wear, and it can sometimes crack (based on a couple vegan leather bags I’ve had in the past).
Does anyone have pros/cons for either?

I loooooove my Emmy bags! 3 kids and it’s my favorite one to use for every day and travel. I have both vegan leather and nylon. I prefer the vegan leather as a diaper bag and nylon as a work bag because the vegan leather, to me, is so SOOO much easier to clean of food or milk spills. Just a baby wipe. For nylon, if the food or milk sits on the fabric, because it is fabric, I have to use dish soap and toothbrush to get the stain out. I’ve had my nylon Emmy for 4 years and the vegan leather one for over 3 years. Both still look great—no peeling on the vegan leather one! I clean my vegan leather bags with leather conditioner.

i have the mina baie kinney in vegan leather and it has not gotten shiny yet! (have used for 4 months) honestly still looks as good as the day i got it :)
