I'm not a very creative person and I lack building skills, most of the time I just make a box or live underground to not have to worry about it, but I want to make a cool house like a wizard tower or something. Are there any mods that help build that kind of stuff in survival minecraft that I can use on a private server? I do not own the server but my friend is ok with mods as long as we dont use them to cheat. I've seen template type stuff from youtube here and there but not sure how it works or if I could run it without modifying a server.

I'm curious because I suck at making circular structures in mc and I love making round domes but can't place the blocks in the right places. Is there some kind of mod that gives me a list of 'buildables' and shows me where to place the blocks for perfection building?

I got a survival server i play on with friends and we want a mod that gives a "phantom build" of what we want to make. Like if it was a house, it would be a semi transparent house there that arent any real blocks and we can just fill it in. We want to recreate the Duomo di Milano as our base, but we do NOT know how we would build it. Any help is thanked!
