ExtraPlanets is pretty much just a grind, not sure what kind of tips you are looking for. The most obnoxious part is probably getting the shield generator from Venus - the corrosive atmosphere destroys your space suits so fast you really gotta rely on other mods to figure out some way to survive. Once you get past that hurdle it’s really just the same loop: mine hundreds of each planet specific ore, make one million heavy duty plates, upgrade your space suit and thermals whenever possible. Repeat till you die of boredom or get to Kepler. Tips for going through Galacticraft Extra Planets in Survival?

Which is better? Extra Planets or More Planets
From what ive seen by looking at the pages, More Planets is more of a different dimensions rather than planets. It does have some very useful utilities like the shield and the warp pad. On the other side, extra planets is one of the most famous addons. it gives more tiers to explore, but makes it so you need to use space suits to survive the atmosphere and radiation can affect you. I love the challenges that a mod like Galacticraft poses, which is why I also have the Extra Planets mod. I was inspired by RaynePlayz's Homeworld series where he tried to make it to other planets but he didn't get far in the solar system before ending the series.
A reason why I ask is because there aren't a lot of pages explaining all the mechanics of Extra Planets, especially since it's an addon for a mod. There's a lot of complicated stuff, like radiation (learned that the hard way from trying to go to Mercury) and the fact that you constantly have to build more and more equipment that takes several chests full of ores, even on fast mode.
