There's currently a bundle deal going on where you get both for the same price, or in other words buy one pc edition and get the other for free. So buying Java edition on its own will just be the same cost anyway. More on reddit.com

Hi!
I hope someone has already encountered this problem and can point me in the right direction.
I'm trying to download the Java Edition client and can't find it.
I bought Minecraft JE back in 2011 and haven't played since 2021.
Now the only installer Minecraft.net has is a bedrock one, and it returns an error that i don't own the game, when i log is with my microsoft account. I've completed the migration from legacy mojang account to the Microsoft account in 2022, but never tested if it actually work until now.
Did Mojang just silently revoke my license or am I doing something wrong?
P.S. I tried reaching their support earlier today, but got the auto-answer with the instructions how to buy the game.
