Charing EU items

EU and MJ are two different forms of energy, and at the moment there's no way to efficiently turn MJ to EU. If you are making more MJ than you could ever use you can use it to turn netherrack into lava and turn that into EU, but it's about a 1 MJ:1 EU conversion, but 1 MJ is way more valuable than 1 EU.

To turn EU -> MJ you just make a forestry electrical engine for about 6 EU:2 MJ.

Edit: I was going over it in my head, and the MJ -> EU numbers don't quite make sense. I'm going to test it.
Edit2: Yep it's 1:1. I was thinking of the 1.4.2 Gregtech where a lava cell was worth 50000EU in a generator.

Right, as the title says. Is it worth it, or does the continued recharging of the :Diamond Drill: remove the enchantment faster than I can plop it in the table? More on forum.industrial-craft.net

r/feedthebeast on Reddit: Diamond Drill acting up (Industrial Craft 2)
June 25, 2021 -

I'm having an issue with my diamond drill. When I use it to mine anything on the multiplayer world I am in, it "breaks" the blocks faster than it should, such as Stone or Gravel. It mines those blocks at the same speed as Dirt or Sand. Once they're broken, it doesn't count as broken to other players, and i can't walk through the area that I "mined". Has anyone else had this problem?

July 19, 2014 - Unlike most of the other big mods, Industrial Craft 2 has some really valuable tools and machines that become available without the need for any diamonds or Nether material. These include especially the macerator and the mining drill. The macerator doubles your ore output by converting every ore block into two ore dust, each of which smelts into one ingot.

Enchanting the mining drill - IndustrialCraft² - IC² Forum
January 4, 2012 - Of course it doesn't break, but Fortune II is quite easy to get and provides 75% more Glowstone, Diamonds, Coal, Redstone and Lapis-Lazuli, which would mean that you won't use the drill on these blocks. You could mine 1562 Blocks with this pick and I would guess that about 1000 of them are coal, which would support you with about 3 new diamond-picks (1000 Blocks of coal would mean about 750 additional coal with fortune, and a pick uses 64 x 3 coal, so it would be enough for almost 4 picks).
