We need to update the MiSTer the first time you get it setup. This is because the MiSTer currently only has a script to update it, no cores, no arcade files, and it's system files may be outdated.

- Fix expanded view in Menu core, don't scroll in expanded view if less than 3 lines. - input: merge jpac/ipac into jammasd option. attn: jammasd_* ini options are changed to jamma_*, see the MiSTer.ini example. ... MegaCD: - Adjust OSD options according to latest changes in Main. attn: don't forget to update Main!

Open up the System Menu (F12) Navigate to Scripts, then run “update” (use the cursor to move and press enter to select). It will download all the latest cores for you and keep your MiSTer updated. MiSTer cores are regularly updated - sometimes daily, so run “update” regularly!

Hi, I'd like to ask if anybody has encountered this MiSTer-related problem before and knows more about it, maybe what the LED error codes mean. I'm dumbfounded by it and would appreciate any help. I recently updated to the newest MiSTer and menu cores. The Mister wouldn't accept any input from USB devices anymore and the green LEDs are now flashing (one on the left, one on the right take turns lighting up).

Thanks for this update. A few observations: 1. The first run takes a while to complete as it has to build a store by scanning all the files. 2. Arcade ROMs DB downloaded 53 files which I already had on my MISTer. 11 associated with Jotego cores were due to hash problem and the others to size difference.

This tool installs and updates all the cores and other extra files for your MiSTer. It also updates the menu core, the MiSTer firmware and the Linux system.

Sorry, I should've phrased that better, I don't mean the color I mean how do you get to that screen? ... I’m just going off the patreon post (I’m still waiting on my MisterFPGA to arrive), but by my understanding, you need to have Update All installed.
