Pipe Dream: Taking an entire MIT Undergraduate Physics Program using OCW
I was just curious what subjects does a physics major take in MIT undergrad.
FRESHMAN MECHANICS COURSE FROM MIT OCW(WALTER LEWIN) [ALONGWITH MODERATED STUDY GROUP]
How bad did MIT humble you?

Assume you have completed your typical "honors physics" high school courses, and have done all math up to trig/precalc. What would be your chosen list of OCW courses to obtain the equivalent of MIT's physics degree? (the one for those going into research)
Note: This is actually a goal of mine to achieve.. I already have a BS in Physics but I feel like you always understand something better the 2nd, or even 3rd time around...
I am not from MIT, but I was curious on the cirriculum and to contrast it with my own college(which wasted a lot of my time on engineering courses).
Looking around the website, all I could find was this -
https://physics.mit.edu/academic-programs/undergrads/requirements/
I understand there are flexible and focused tracks here. But before those start, what does a physics major take? Physics I and II? My college had courses analogous to that, but we also had courses on calculus and linear algebra. I understand 18.02 teaches calculus. But what about linear algebra? How does a physics student learn all the required mathematics?
Is that all there is to it and is there something else? I am asking because I am trying to learn from OCW, and till now I haven't given much attention to my education even though I am a junior.
