When did MN start charging 8.375% tax on food? Or is fresh herbs not considered food by state tax law?

Sales tax for vehicle purchases out of state
Ask them to leave it out and you'll pay the taxes when you register the car. It may be an Indiana thing and they won't let you, though. My car purchase in LA also did the taxes down there and paid MN (they sent a check and the title to the DMV), but slightly underpaid. If they won't let you do that, just ask for a breakdown in writing on how they come up with that figure. More on reddit.com
