What types of doors are best for corner showers?
Sliding doors and bi-fold doors are ideal for saving space in small bathrooms, while hinged doors work well in larger areas. Frameless glass doors offer a modern, sleek look with minimal hardware. Consider the room’s layout when choosing a door, as the door style impacts both accessibility and overall aesthetic.
How do I maintain a corner shower enclosure?
To maintain a corner shower, regularly clean the glass with a mild cleaner to prevent soap scum and water stains. For tile or grout, use a non-abrasive cleaner and reseal the grout periodically to avoid mildew. Squeegeeing the glass after each use can help reduce water spots, keeping your shower looking fresh and clean.
What are the benefits of a frameless corner shower?
A frameless corner shower offers a sleek, modern aesthetic with fewer visual barriers, making the bathroom feel larger and more open. It’s easier to clean due to the absence of bulky framing and provides a minimalistic, seamless design. Additionally, frameless showers often use thicker glass, which adds durability and a high-end look.
We have a small space for a bathroom, our builders suggest a neo angle corner shower as in layout 1. We also are debating layout 2 with a more standard shower. Is there anything I should keep in mind or do you have any feedback on your experience or what you'd prefer?
There is one window near the toilet. We are doing a pocket door for the bathroom entrance to help save space.
The corner shower is 42 in the diagram, there will be a half wall on one side of the neo angle, and will be glass enclosed. Shower will be tiled.
