Figure out what you really need first. Decide what you can afford to spend. You can probably rent a van for much less than you can get it delivered plus you can bring it home when you want. Waiting on Deliveries is a waste of time which = $ Don't buy used beds, Couches or anything of that Nature. Also, a lot of these liquidation places are buying bulk internationally by the container load. Most of it is junk. But if the price is right it might be ok for the short term. If your budget is low just go buy everything at ikea except your Bed. Ikea is great for the short term (2/3 years imo). In that time you can upgrade if you really want to. Also look at Auctions.
