On 0 dollar budget I would say, move right desk to that right wall to open up the room to those dope windows. I would find a way to arrange the lose items so they don’t feel as cluttered, and try to open up the walk way between couch right arm and right wall. Maybe find a way to display the guitar if possible(hard to see if there’s room) slide the mini fridge on the left side of the larger desk against right wall. With a slight budget I think you could maybe thrift and get a console table for under the tv that would hide the cables and also provide you with storage. I would also look for a coffee table with some storage. Depending on your style you could also mount the bike possibly in that left corner. You know your cat/s best but you could also display the instrument and store the bag. Would give some character. Some kind of art maybe? Choose a style to use as a template to look for art consistent with the style you choose. Etsy is a good source for art of all kinds and price points. Wayfair also has a nice selection. Moved in with my bf last year, and have been experimenting since then, but I’m always feeling like something is not quite right. He had the vintage rug that I love, and we bought the couch but I second guess it everyday. We’re artist types so spend a lot of time at home, and this is kind of the catch all office as well, but I feel distracted/unsatisfied with the space. Any suggestions would be appreciated! I’ve thought of -getting a bigger media console -replacing the two stacked side tables by the windows with an actual arm chair/reading book (it’s dead space my cat just uses now) -making the wall by the keyboard more interesting/adding some shelves
