I guess you've installed the module with a different python version than you have run it. To fix this you can run python -m pip install <the-name-of-the-module> and than run the script with python <path-to-your-script>. If you want to use python3 just replace all python with python3.

I ran into this same issue which brought me here.
I found a solution in my case. The package was installed, attempts to re-install said requirement already satisfied.
In my case the tool I was trying to use (pytest) was not installed in the venv but was installed in the path. Installing pytest into the same venv solved the issue.
Problem with importing 'colorgram' module

I keep getting this error for the colorgram module in Python - Stack Overflow
Python ModuleNotFound error
So, basically it's more a PyCharm problem than a Python one. I want to use the module 'colorgram' as I mentioned in the title, so I installed it with the package installer of PyCharm. But when I tried to call it with:
"import colorgram"
The program stopped running because of 'ModuleNotFoundError'. I tries using the same method for other modules, but no problem at all. Anybody else got into similar problems?
Check if you have installed colorgram module. In PyCharm it is: PyCharm/Preferences/Project/Python interpreter If you cant see colorgram module there, use "+" to add it.
You might be passing the incorrect path. I was also getting the same error. I noticed that my dir in VS code terminal was 'C:\Users\user\Desktop\100DaysPythonBootcamp' so when i passed my file name 'image.jpg' it showed error as it was looking for it in the bootcamp folder in this case you pass the location within you directory i.e 'Day18_Turtle\hriste-painting\image.jpg' (in my case) which was within it then i ran successfully
Hey, I've been learning Python for a while now, and I've been using Visual Studio. I kept getting ModuleNotFoundError errors in PyCharm. Today, I created a file with a venv folder, and suddenly the colorgram module I normally downloaded started giving the same error. I can't find a solution online, no matter what I try. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Python, uninstalled and reinstalled colorgram, but it's not fixing it. Is there anyone who can help me with what I can do?
