September 12, 2021Can DIYers help me out with a recommendation for Shower head/packages?
I was told to stick with Delta, Moen, Kohler American Standard or Symmons for the valve.
In my setup (tub/Shower) I combined a Symmons Allura temptrol kit with an American Standard 10" ceiling mounted rain shower head. The only thing that is plastic is the surround on the Symmons trim where the water control levers are. The levers themselves are metal. The good thing is that I can always upgrade the trim trim later since the valve works with various trim kits. I think it was around $300 for it all. I am happy with it.
