Felicity. Simply because they seamlessly blended old pieces(Penny, Ark, Christmas/doll) with new movie ones. Not by much though. Samantha captured the nostalgia a bit more but it is Sam. Their iconic “face” of the historical line.

We are watching the Molly movie for the first time, and holy canoli! What is this monstrosity? Why did they feel the need to change almost everything? What is the point in making a movie based on a book series when you are going to take such liberties?

The AG movies were always going to be kind of a mess. You can't really cover six books that each have distinct plots and that take place over a span of a year and a half in 84 minutes. They succeeded at what they were trying to be - an hour and a half long commercial to make little girls ask their parents for dolls.

November 4, 2020 - The screenwriter, Anna Sandor, did a phenomenal job both keeping the spirit of the Molly books and making a gripping movie that showcased the harsh realities of World War II from a kid's eye. This movie did not sugarcoat World War II. Of course they couldn't make it real dark, because it's made for nine year old girls, but between life changes and off-screen deaths, AG did the best they could.
