currently i have ancient shadow armor (i do lack a life), and it works just fine. im about to fight the WoF, but molten armor dosent have as many benefits as ancient shadow does. also what accessories should i use?

Molten is objectively better in most ways, but if you're confident (especially in your dodging and healing) shadow will serve you fine for WoF fight.

If you are doing a play through were you use any weapon I would recommend molten armor but if your using specific weapons like melee thrower ranged magic then I would use the respective armor for those classes that give the best benefits

I have been playing for a while, but i still don't know much about the game. As of 1.4 the reaver shark got a nerf, so the only way i know how is a nightmare pickaxe (for corrupt.) I know i have to defeat the eater for that, but that's the whole reason i need the armor in the first place.
EDIT: Btw, i am in master mode, so that's why i suck

Just defeat the eater with other armor, Molten Armor is VERY overkill for the eater of worlds. Then you can craft Deamonite bars, and use a Deamonite pickaxe to mine hellstone ore

Currently playing master mode with a friend, we have the Crimson instead, but if its any help I had to have a minishark beforehand with silver armor, and my friend had Jungle armor and some magic weapon. We beat it pretty easily but I know Eater is tougher but maybe this gives you some help?
