If you have not done so, Read our FAQ! which answers most questions. Please note that with the current CoVid-19 crisis that support is very limited at PayPal. No one here can fix that or offer solutions. The most common answer is to telephone PayPal support. However at this time such a call may be frutile, though you can keep trying. Pay Monthly vs Pay in 4
Pay Monthly reports to the credit bureaus while Pay in 4 does not. That could be a reason. Also Pay Monthly is for larger purchases up to $10,000 while Pay in 4 has a max amount of $1500 per plan subject to approval. So my questions to you would be, how much were your Pay monthly loans for? Also you should have a prequalified amount for your Pay in 4, it only shows in the app. Go tour Pay in 4 plans on the PayPal app and you'll see a prequalified amount. What is that amount? Is PayPal Credit worth it in my situation?
Sounds like they gave you an intro 0% APR. Did you apply during your purchase checkout? It should show when it posts to your account. You can also contact Paypal to get clarification on what the offer is exactly. Either way, interest usually accrues from date purchase posts to your account so if you don't pay off the balance before the promo expires, you'll get hit with interest accrued from day one. r/paypal on Reddit: PayPal Credit - option to pay specific amount per month
October 10, 2020 -
Hi,
So I just bought an item worth £200 via PayPal credit. It offered me 0% interest for the first 4 months, which I took. Can anyone confirm if this means that I'll pay £50 every month for 4 months, or do I have to pay £200 at the end of month 4? What's also confusing is how I don't have any control over how much I can pay, as monthly payments via PayPal credit is fixed based on how many months I'll be paying the purchases for.

It’s setup to just have a minimum payment, which I think is $35. You can pay more than that, but you do have to pay the minimum. Minimum increases with your balance- so a $4,000 balance you might have a minimum of $100 for example. If you don’t pay the minimum they’ll charge the interest. Standard financing terms at any store card etc.
