Spartan Weaponry adds alot of different weapons, none are really "crazy". Make sure to check its addons, there is alot of mod support. Balkon's WeaponMod: Legacy adds some weapons but the flail is especially cool since it works similar to fishing rod, also has an addon mod for mod support. Metallurgy 4 adds bunch of ores, armors and tools which all have special abilities, it is really well made mod, make sure to check config, you can disable anything you don't like. Mystic Bows adds bunch of vanilla looking bows which have config for everything, including amount of arrows they can fire. Underrated mod. Tinkers construct and its many addons add lots of customizable weapons. Broadsword, longsword, cleaver, shortbow, longbow, crossbow, katana, rapier and laser gun come from tinkers construct, have in mind that they are very customizable using modifiers and different tool parts. Katana and laser gun are from PlusTIC . Dagger, parrying dagger, longsword, katana, scythe, saber, rapier, greatsword, hammer, spear, halberd, warhammer, pike, lance, longbow, crossbow, throwing knife, throwing axe, javelin, boomerang, flanged mace, battleaxe, glaive and quarterstaff come from spartans weaponry. They are NOT just copy pastes of each other they all have different traits and abilities. Spartans weaponry has alot of mod support with its addons so the weapons don't have to stay just on vanilla materials. Metallurgy 4 has some really interesting ablities such as "You deal more damage as you grow hungry, killing enemies appeases your hunger depending on max health of the enemy but also makes you hungry for more". It has 39 different materials -> 39 different swords. Anything from the mod can be completely disabled (removed from registry). Bow, crude bow, quick bow, heavy bow, lightning bow, fire bow, shot bow, burst bow, ranged bow come from Mystic Bows and all can be completely customized. For example you can set shot bow to fire 50 arrows after waiting for 10 seconds for it to charge and to consume 10 arrows. Damage is also configurable. Balkons weaponmod adds some stuff that spartans weaponry already does but also adds flails which are similar to fishing rods. Here's an image .
