I have a lot of constant neck pain from weight lifting and working long hours.
It's being worked on with the fysio. However, what are some good lounge chairs that sit amazing?
So you can really relax at night, while it's not bed time yet. Just to watch TV or read a book.
Especially support on the neck would be amazing

I know the feeling. Office chairs can be comfortable but it's not the same as lounging on a sofa or recliner. I'm not endorsing them and I think they have some design issues to work out and are very expensive, but I think you should look at eKornes Stressless products to get an idea of what is out there and what you want. https://www.stressless.com/en/products/recliners They use very high density foam and do make an effort to engineer their products to be ergonomic and adjustable. Their headrest feature where it angles both upwards if you want to have your head up when reclining versus lying back is a nice idea. What has kept me from going for one is the arms are loop arms, so it doesn't look like a chair that would be good to sit cross legged on or with one leg tucked underneath you. They also make sofas but they are very expensive. The other thing is it's a Norwegian company, so if you have issues with parts or need support, even if you have a helpful dealer, things will take time. They are improving their distribution capabilities in North America slowly. Another option is Fjords. They make similar-style products, but at a slightly lower price point. I don't know how much you're looking to spend or how much space you have but a cheap option might be a low-back style reception seat that will let you put some kind of neck cushion on top but also let you stretch your shoulder blades. Recliners with backs that are too high can make you feel boxed in, so I think they can counterintuitively make things worse in the long run. Anyway, I hope you find something good.
