I started an RV rental company about 5 years ago and have grown it to around $70k revenue/month aiming for 20-30% net operating income. Started with consignment units (I managed other people’s RVs as rentals) I found on facebook marketplace as I didn’t have the capital to buy one. After a year of building a profit and loss statement with other people’s RVs (proving the business model) I created a deck and met with banks to secure financing to buy a fleet of RVs. With demand high, we are now expanding nationally through consignments and partnerships with local entrepreneurs/fleet owners. A good business to start if you like people and servicing them. More RV industry market share seems to be moving to RV rentals as a solution to getting the unique experience without having the hassle of owning, storing and maintaining an RV. More on reddit.com

I co-own a residential appliance repair company. I chose this trade for a reason: 1.) It can't be flooded with cheap labour (I clean up their messes all the time). 2.) The skill floor is very high so DIYers often just screw things up and once again I clean up the mess. 3.) It can't be automated. They've tried using AI to diagnose appliances but it's been a disaster so far as the sensors that can tell a computer what might be going on can themselves fail. 4.) It can't be outsourced. Some companies have tried walking customers through a diagnosis but it's a huge liability issue, they don't have the tools, and you can't put the phone to get the right angle in the very awkward and tight spaces in appliances. 5.) The market will slow but will never crash because no matter how broke someone is it's far more expensive to not have a working fridge or stove. My company has steadily grown and as appliances become more complex and less reliable there is always business. More on reddit.com

Easy to manage, low investment, high margins, those are quite the requirements. Might I also suggest adding the availability of state subsidies, low risk and high chances of potential acquisition by Google, Meta or Amazon to the list to make it slightly more realistic? /s EDIT.
