Hi all! I have just gotten the b650e-e and can't get past this error code. I got past it before through bios flashback but now since booting again I cannot get past it. I have reinserted everything and tried to reinstall the flashback but nothing.

I have been through everything and simply cannot find a solution.

PLEASE HELP!!

Hello! Quickly before I describe the issue my specs are below:

Motherboard - Asus B650E-E wifi

CPU - Ryzen 7 7800 X3D

GPU - Asus Rog Strix 4080 Super OC 16g

Ram - G Skill Trident Z5 Neo 64gb DDR5

The issue I am experiencing is long boot times but before it boots, I am receiving error code 15 on my mother board’s error code indicator. I have tried reseating the ram, tested another set of ram from Corsair, updated my bios and cleared the CMOS. I am not sure why my computer is taking so long to post. If someone can help me with a solution would be much appreciated!

I recently got my new components to upgrade my old system which was originally built in 2012 with Intel Ivy bridge.

New components: Asus Crosshair VIII Hero Dark, 5900X and T-Force XTREEM AERG 3600Mhz CL14 32GB.

After installing the components I am greeted by a Q CODE 15 and the Q LED shinning yellow / orange on the DRAM. I have tested the ram at a friends older Intel 8700k system and it was just fine. Booted right up and showed no signs of being bad.

I have since then tried basically everything from clearing CMOS to running outside the case, only 8-pin and 24-pin power plugged in. Running without the CPU cooler inside the case and outside the case, checked for overtightened screws, loose screws, potential shorting, tried both ram stick one at a time in all the slots. I have also updated the bios twice to 3003 bios.

One time I got a Q CODE 00 after I held the clear CMOS for over 10 seconds, but I assume it was frozen or something since it didn't react to the power button and I had to switch off the PSU entirely.

I can't think of anything else to check now. I would need a completely different system to check motherboard and CPU. I've spent more than 8 hours trying to figure this out...

I am out of ideas and quite frustrated. Do anyone of you have any suggestions to what I can do or have experienced this yourself and solved it?

Very late update: Board was defective. After some years with the Dark Hero now, I can confirm this error was due to the board being incapable of training the ram. Would suspect poor traces or faulty SoC voltage supply with either too high/low voltage or a very very poor signal (data eye). Which in turn meant the UMC on the CCX was unable to train the memory.

Cant get the error code 15 to go away. I havent installed windows 11 yet but also i cant even get the monitor to show a signal from the pc. Any advice will help!

I am working on a new build with all new components. On power on, the system runs through a series of codes too fast to read, then restarts, runs throw some more codes, and halts on code 15. According to the manual it is "Pre-memory System Agent initialization is started"

It has been stuck with this error for several hours now.

Hello all, I just completed a new build with the following specs:

CPU: AMD 7950x

MOBO: MSI x670e MEG ACE

RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum 64gb (4x16gb) 6000mhz

GPU: 3090 FE

PSU: Corsair AX1600i

Boot drive is a 1tb Kingston KC3000 m.2; there are several other m2 drives and SATA drives also present

Initial boot was lengthy as anticipated, about 1 minute. However, every time I boot (or try to wake from sleep) I get debug code 15, it hangs on this code for about 30 seconds, then reboots and then boots normally. Overall the PC is working fine, but I've been trying to find a solution to this with no luck. I updated to the most recent BIOS 7D69v125(Beta version) with no change. If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

I've had this board since 2013 and it's been running perfectly fine since day 1. Yesterday, I set up a new monitor and everything was running fine.

Turned off the PC and went to bed. Woke up this morning and my PC will not boot into the BIOS. Keep getting error 15 on the mobo and I know it means "Pre-memory North-bridge initialzation is started" - well, I don't know what that means.

The CPU fan doesn't spin, although it initially looks like it's about to.

Looked on previous forums and some say it's a corrupted BIOS and needs to be reflashed (tried Alt+F10 and nothing worked).

Tried taking the RAM out and using different slot etc but nothing is working.

Any chance anyone could give me a hand?

When I first booted the computer windows was on the install screen and it said "your computer needs to be repaired" I did not get a chance to record the code.

After that it would not boot at all. I tried booting with the graphic card removed, but found out that doesn't work unless your processor has on board video built in.

I also tried booting with a bios usb, still nothing.

It gives error code 15, the manual calls this "dr. debug" under 15 it says: PEI_CAR_NB_INIT

also gives 5c but the manual says nothing about this

I've tried re seating the GFX card and processor and hitting the reset switches. I have also replaced the motherboard, I just got the new one today, does the same thing. It also gives the same error code with the video card removed.

Im building a new PC with an X870E Aorus Pro Ice, Ryzen 9950X, 4080, and 64gb Corsair Dominator ram, but it keeps crashing on Code 15. Everytime I power it up, the DRAM Light comes on Red, it gets to code 15, and then it almost immediately shuts down.

I have had it actually post twice though, once it only made it to the BIOS then turned off, the second time it actually booted all the way into the Windows Install USB, then turned off. Both times though it made it past Code 15 and the DRAM light went off, and the Boot Light came on.

I know that Code 15 means its doing memory training and sometimes it takes a few minutes to move past it, but in this case that is not my problem, as it just shuts off.

Things I've tried so far:

• Confirmed that the Memory is in the supported memory list for the motherboard

• Tried with 1 Stick, Then the other stick, in all 4 slots

• Tried using A1/A2, B1/B2, A1/B1 slots instead of A2/B2 like the manual says

• Reseated the RAM Multiple times

Does anyone have any thoughts on what could cause this? Did I just get bad memory? Im not really sure what else to try at this point.

Edit: For anyone who finds this post later, the issue was not at all memory related. A loose pin on the CPU Cooler PWM plug was causing the AIO pump not to run and as a result the CPU was overheating and the system was shutting down. The pause at the memory init was just long enough to let it overheat and shutdown i guess.

Recently upgraded to 9950x with gigabyte x870 auros elite motherboard and 64gb Corsair 5600 ddr5 RAM but can't get post. I tried to flash bios through USB but didn't work. Reseated RAM but still shows the dram LED despite the slot or paired/single. It's a new PC, almost. GPU, SSD, case, and fans are from old rig. I don't have another pair of RAM to test motherboard. I'm going to reseat the CPU, CMOS, and check all cables are plug in all the way. I'm annoyed the possibility rma the motherboard or RAM. This sucks. Big change I'll have to replace RAM huh

As the title says my x470 is showing error code 15. I tried clearing cmos, removing the battery trying each ram individually. I looked around but couldnt find a clear answer or video on how to resolve. Its permanent black screen and will not allow me into the bios. Sorry if this has been answered and i missed it. Cpu ryzen 2700 1070 hybrid Corsair x4 2666 Gigabyte x470

Hello everybody I need some help My pc specs are: CPU:Ryzen 5 7600X PSU: 850W Corsair GPU: Powercolor 9070xt Ram : Corsair Vengeance RBG DDR5 16GBx2 6000MHz

The issue that it is occurring is that i am getting a code 15 for a couple seconds and then my computer just turns off. I have updated the Bios to the most recent one. I have changed the Ram from a 6400MHz to a 6000MHz. I’ve cleared the CMOS using the button on the motherboard to no avail. And I have tested these parts on my Friends computer and it works just fine. I’ve always decided to only put one ram in the A2 slot and vice versa but still doesn’t work. What could the issue be. Please help!
