Experience with plastic flooring tiles?| Grassroots Motorsports forum |
Hey all, I recently had my garage floor re-poured due to 40 years of settlement. I'd like to keep the concrete protected from stains and damage in a cost- and labor-effective way. To that end, I've been looking at plastic flooring tiles such as RaceDeck on the high end, TrueLock HD in the middle, and Costco's MotoFloor ... More on grassrootsmotorsports.com

RaceDeck versus Costco MotoFloor | The Garage Journal
September 25, 2023 - What I can tell you though, is that RaceDeck tiles are superior to MotoFloor in terms of rolling weight ratings, underside build structure (including connectors), and finish. It's why they cost more. However, budget is always the final deciding factor. ... https://racedeck.com/racedeck-garage-fl...

December 4, 2011 - The tiles look nice. the downside is that everything spilled on them seeps thru the joints and stays in the floor below. They are not practical for a real working floor. I did my 4000sq ft+ with solvent based epoxy and for a working floor and ...

November 7, 2006 - IMO, a floating tile floor like the MotoFloor or Swiss-Trax is best for reasons already stated above. It is very durable, oil and chemical resistant... I have tried to hurt it. So far so good. I went with the MotoFloor for $$ reasons. I couldn't justify the extra cost of a couple of other brands. However, with SwissTrax and others you get MANY color and surface pattern choices. I agree with your reasoning. I figure that after I repaint the whole garage I will be burned out on rolling and don't want to continue on the floor with an epoxy product.
