You're a little confused, haha. Torrenting is a way of sharing files, P2P (peer to peer), meaning, between people. You download the file from multiple people at the same time that they're sharing (seeding) it, and you also let others who want it download it from your computer as you download it. The file you download is, let's say, Terminator2.mp4. If you download it from 1 "central" place you download the same file, Terminator2.mp4, but from only 1 place that "hosts" the file and lets you download it.
