I remember the days when we feared updating our BIOS. Only people from select few in the 10m radius was supposed to be and you, often times, made sacrifice in the sense of alcohol and some food consumption. We watched as the user hit enter key and no one was breathing, or it was very shallow breath, until it was successful. The BIOS build date will be slightly older than the BIOS release date due to Beta Testing. BIOS version is in Hex .... here's how the naming scheme breaks down ... E = UEFI Compliant BIOS 7D91 = Model number of your motherboard. I = Denotes an Intel based board. An "A" here is for AMD. MS = Denotes a retail board sold by Microstar International. Anything other than "MS" here means it's a pre-built. M-Flash prevents pre-built boards from being flashed with Retail BIOS updates by not displaying the BIOS update file in Flash mode ...
