Why is that whenever I boot my pc up cold start or from sleep, my pc sometimes or always run into debug error code. My motherboard always show codes like 55, 41, 66,etc. whenever I boot up and after pressing the reset button on my case it boots up fine. Is this normal or red flag something to worry about?. Also, upon checking error 41 on the motherboard's manual, I can't find what the code means lol.
Hello,
one of my relatives have an issue with his pc with MEG X570 ACE.
The desktop was working fine, suddenly, while doing his job, the screen lost the sync with the pc and never came back.
After rebooting the desktop the debugging display showed all those codes 42, 41, 40, 39, 38, 37, 36, 35, 34, 33, 32, and more, in loop and without posting.
What happened?
Is this normal for this motherboard to be displaying debug codes all the time? My PC doesn't seem to crash or anything so I am just confused why it's giving me these codes.
like when I am idle it gives code 54 and 55. which apparently means code 55 "memory not installed" which doesn't make any sense because my PC is running and I am on google chrome right now lol. And Code 54 means memory initialization error.
and when I am gaming its showing codes 57 and 58 which means
57- CPU mismatch
58 - CPU self test failed or possible CPU cache error?
My PC specs
CPU - AMD 9800X3D - no overclocking
Ram - DDR5 CL28 6000mhz - EXPO mode enabled
Mainboard - MSI x870 tomahawk
GPU - RTX 5090 - i have it undervolved+overclocked
Should I be worried here or is this motherboard supposed to be displaying codes like this for no reason?
Hello so I read the manual for my motherboard for my x670e carbon but on my motherboard after using it for about an hour I see code ranging from 39-66 but I don't see any numbers matching that in the manual what what it means?
Edit: does the debug code ever stop or is it always supposed to switch numbers constantly?
