I see many MSI Z790 models have been announced, but there is no Unify entry as of yet. Does anyone know if one will be coming? I am planning a build that is all about understated power, and this would be the perfect board for it.

I called in to MSI and spoken to their Tech. I was asking questions about z690 Unify-X and Z790 Carbon. I was told the only difference is the 4 dimm slots and one extra transistor. I was asking about the quality of the both motherboards when comparing the capacitor, transistors, and Mosfets. Their tech from Canada said that both motherboards z690 Unify-X and z790 carbon have the exact same quality used. He recommended me to buy the z790 carbon because of this.

Asus releases their APEX late, but its out.
Gigabyte is late as well with the TACHYON, but its coming late December.
We need the Z790 Unify X, very fast memory being released and we don't have an MSI board to use it.
I really don't want to go with Asus/Gigabyte, please give us the UNIFY.

Be the hero your enthusiast fans need. It’s already been developed, marketing doesn’t know what they’re talking about, people will buy it. Dust it off, beef it up, and get some more records :)
