Ok so I’ve been searching and searching for the best music app I have Spotify premium, musi (no ads), YT music Premium, and Pandora and sound cloud
I don’t like Spotifys way of doing playlists or how the music volume is lower on rock music compared to other apps and it’s a noticeable difference, I’ve been using musi for years now but there currently having issues with Apple and YT so I have to have a backup just in case rn I’m looking at YT music premium as my backup but I’m not fully convinced yet
So I'm a lifelong Android user but I didn't start officially streaming music on my phone until around 2019. Prior to that, I primarily used iPods for my music so of course it was iTunes. As the iPod began to fade, I transitioned all of my music to Google Play Music (rip) until Google killed that app in favor of YouTube Music which I've been using since early 2020.
What's your music app?
An offline music player? A free streaming service or paid?
Edit: I have PowerAmp for my offline MP3 collection. Another app which I use sporadically is AntennaPod for podcasts.
I use the built-in FM tuner app for Milwaukee Brewer games and local news.
and I recently downloaded a really great app called Cloud Radio Pro for streaming music, sports, comedy, news, and talk channel streams.
Best thing is I can manually or schedule a recording of a stream. The app already has over 90,000 channels from the world to choose from and if a favorite isn't there you can add it which I did... adding over 20 local/regional/niche selections.
Kind of upset that I only recently discovered app as it's been around for years. My previous Google Play search strings involved the word FM usually so this app never came up in my results. 😢
I'm guessing most people use Spotify but am legit curious on other's app choices?
