I have managed to wriggle out of this Loop after a night of completely stressing For this What you do need is your mobile phone number and to be logged into ur account on a previous device (Eg changing ur device to a new one) create a new account on another device using the phone number which is attached to the one you are trying to retrieve you should get a notification on ur Facebook which u are logged in on ur old device asking if you would like to update your phone number- click to keep it it will then ask you to login- click forgot password, there will be an option to receive SMS - this link finally works! change your password to something you always remember n live happily ever after n delete the other account u made 🥹 Also when u have got back into ur account add email to account More on reddit.com

I need help finding my Facebook password on my PC. I lost it, and the email I signed up with no longer exists, I'm hoping to find my password somewhere on my PC. I"m logged into the account and suing it, so hopefully it is somewhere in Windows.
Can anyone help with this?
Alternately, can I add an additional email and phone number without Facebook making me verify with my original email that no longer exists?

For the past 4 days, every morning someone tries to reset my Facebook password. I get emails every morning from Facebook giving me a new password reset code. They all end with "If you didn't request a new password, let us know." with a link to inform Facebook about it. Hovering over the link, it would send me to facebook.com/login/recover/cancel followed by a bunch of numbers and the email seemed pretty legitimate, so I thought it would be safe to click. I clicked it once and just got a thank you message on Facebook. But the second time, they offered to turn off password reset based on email and user name for my account, which I said yes to. I also changed my password myself and activated two-step authentication. But even still, every day after, I still get emails of someone trying to reset my password and a reset code attached.
As far as I can tell, no one has actually gotten in or changed my password because I never got an email saying my password was actually reset aside from when I did it myself. It's just annoying and worrying why someone is so persistent and I'm not sure if it means something else is wrong.
