Amazon Order History Report / CSV Export
I'm using a free Chrome extension called 'Amazon Order History Reporter' by Phil Mulcahy. It allows you to easily filter your orders or shipments by year and generate CSV results within minutes. The CSV files are straightforward to parse and include order IDs, ASINs, various price details (including refunds and payments), as well as URLs for orders, invoices, and item details, in case you need to investigate further. I'm very pleased with this extension and believe it will be helpful to others as well. https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/amazon-order-history-repo/mgkilgclilajckgnedgjgnfdokkgnibi More on reddit.com

My Metroid Prime 4 order just got cancelled by Amazon after years of delays
Yep. Just 20 minutes ago, same with me. “Due to a lack of availability” Mhm. It’s probably that odd Nintendo-Amazon relationship thing that’s going on. I remember my Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD and Paper Mario: TTYD getting cancelled, too. More on reddit.com
Order not showing up under recent orders??
Just a potential fix: you might be in the Amazon of other country, (the Amazon app also changes country sometimes though it asks you), you need to set the country back to the one where you purchased it and that would be it. You may do this by going to your email and click track the shipment of the product you bought More on reddit.com

How to hide your Amazon ordering history from family members
2 days ago - Unfortunately, Amazon no longer allows users to “archive” a previous order — i.e., move it from the “Orders” tab to another section where it isn’t as easily viewed. This means that anyone with access to your Amazon account can see items that have already been purchased or delivered by navigating to the “Your Orders” tab.

How to find and visualize your Amazon order history data (Tutorial) | TechChange | The Institute for Technology and Social Change
A brave , if futile, attempt at organizing and explaining the process I used to get, clean, and visualize my Amazon data. This is a long and detailed post, so here’s a roadmap in case you want to jump to the part you care about most: ... Amazon makes this process outrageously easy. Just visit the Order History Reports page, enter in the date range you’d like to use (I requested everything from 2006 thru 2016), then click “Request Report”.

r/amazonprime on Reddit: Amazon Order History Report / CSV Export
January 3, 2024 -
Posting this as a PSA for anyone who might be looking to find their 2023 order history exported as a CSV, and stumbled into other Reddit posts advertising Chrome extensions or paid-for scraping software that achieves the same.
You can quite literally just request the data directly from Amazon from here: https://www.amazon.com/hz/privacy-central/data-requests/preview.html
As tax season gears up, I figured this might help out a few people, as I didn't realize this until I waited WAYY too long in a customer support chat.

Here is a letter you can send your congressman/congresswoman to complain about Amazon removing this. Probably won't do any good, but I'm sure they keep a list of things to go after Amazon about, would be good to make sure this is on it. Dear [Congresswoman/Senator] [Recipient's Last Name], I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention a recent issue that affects many consumers, including myself, who rely on Amazon for their purchases. Until recently, Amazon provided a feature that allowed customers to easily export their purchase data directly from their account settings. This was an invaluable tool for tracking expenses, managing budgets, and preparing for tax season. However, about a year ago, Amazon removed this convenient feature. Customers are now required to submit a data request through their account's Data and Privacy section. According to Amazon, these requests can take up to a month or more to be fulfilled, which is a significant delay compared to the immediate access previously available. Additionally, the data provided through this process is reportedly more difficult to parse and use effectively. This change represents a considerable downgrade in service and poses a substantial inconvenience to consumers who need timely access to their purchase information. Such a delay and increased difficulty in accessing personal data are not only frustrating but also arguably infringe upon our rights to swift and user-friendly access to our own data. I believe this issue highlights a broader concern regarding consumer rights and data accessibility. The ability to quickly and easily access personal purchase data should be a fundamental service provided by online retailers. The current situation with Amazon sets a concerning precedent and could encourage other companies to adopt similar anti-consumer practices. I urge you to investigate this matter and consider advocating for regulations that ensure consumers have easy and prompt access to their own purchase data. Protecting consumer rights in the digital age is increasingly important, and I believe this issue deserves your attention and action. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your response and any steps you might take to address this pressing issue. Sincerely, [Your Name]
