Please forgive me for what I am about to say. I know it’s wrong and shameful.
MyPillow Giza Dreams sheets are the best sheet set you can buy for under $100. Someone gave me a set and I turned my nose up at them and sent them to my Airbnb. Jokes on me because they’re my favorite Airbnb sheets. They don’t wrinkle. They’re nice and crisp but silky out of the dryer.
I said what I said. 🤷🏼♀️

Looking for thin and light sheets. I’m so much happier sleeping in a hotel bed compared to my own lol. Trying to solve this.
Does the crispness/ smoothness help to roll over easier? I notice I don’t move when sleeping at home. I feel that’s not good.
Just trying to get this set up right and sleep better.
Thanks.
Im looking for jersey sheets that don’t pill or egyptian cotton, i found a couple online but all the reviews say they pill after a couple washes and i don’t want that
so i can sleep stress-free at night. i would prefer the sheets be super lightweight and keep me cool and super soft. The MyPillow sheets were HORRIBLE. were not even comfortable AT ALL. also looking for a lightweight comforter. I have massive anxiety before bed so i need to make my bed as comfy and cool as possible so i can fall asleep easily. thx. can u guys suggest some products.
I'm currently eyeing the St Geneve Giza 45 sateen sheets and I'm trying to compare them with other luxury bedding brands like from Sferra, Matouk or Frette. I’m curious about the Sferra and Frette Giza line since they seem comparable but are much more expensive than the St Geneve sheets. There’s also the Matouk Gatsby line that is percale cotton that seems great as well. In addition, I’m unsure if their slightly lower offering (Sferra Milos and Frette 600TC sateen sheets, Matouk Nocturne) is comparable to the St Geneve Giza 45.
I'm unfortunately only able to get swatches for the Sferra Giza and St geneve Giza so I’m not able to compare them all well. If anyone has tried the St Geneve Giza and compared them to the others or found something better, can you let me know?.
I get the idea of natural fibers and that percale is more durable because of the weave, but why is that the only cotton people ever recommend? Am I missing something? Whatever happened to like Egyptian cotton?
I needed to see for myself so I got all of these to see what they actually feel like. Here they are in order from roughest to smoothest... prices for comparison are all for Queen sheet set.
6. LL BEAN ORGANIC PERCALE $179, currently on sale for $149 - these are rough. There's something about them I kind of like. They are just so stiff and hardy, giving them a somewhat admirable character.
5. COMPANY STORE ORGANIC CLASSIC COOL PERCALE $199, currently on sale for $139 - these felt the thickest of all the ones listed here, even though they were a pretty standard 300TC. I liked the thickness, but they still had slightly more texture than I prefer.
4. LL BEAN EGYPTIAN PERCALE $259.00 - these were tempting, but when I lay my cheek to them, still a bit more texture than I would like for the price point.
3. LL BEAN SUPIMA PERCALE $169.00 (made in China :/ ) - these have a lot of slip to them, almost as if they were coated. But when I look up close at the weave it seems different than the others, even though it is supposed to be percale and the feel makes sense when you see the weave pattern.
2. COMPANY STORE CLASSIC COOL PERCALE $149, currently on sale for $104
PIMA PERU 415TC (very smooth) - $149 These were the smoothest and noticeably cool to the touch every time I picked them up. They also felt nearly as thick as the Company Store Organic classic cool. Ultimately this is what I kept because of the combination of pliability, smoothness, thickness and price point. I think they will be pretty wrinkly. We'll see how they hold up!
I HOPE YOU ALL FIND THIS MORE HELPFUL than the standard and completely un-descriptive "I love my sheets" and "these are the best" reviews.
UPDATE: I washed the Pima Peru and all the silkiness is gone. lol. SO LAME. It’s still a really nice sheet - now basically on par with the Company Store Organic in terms of thickness and the CP Classic Cool in terms of feel and coldness. Whaddyagonnado 🤷🏻♀️
I shopped around for luxury brand sheets last year and I had a lot of hesitation and went back and forth on buying them, so I thought I'd share my experience for those thinking of purchasing these expensive sheets.
I ended up purchasing both Sferra Finna and Sferra Giza 45 percale. The Sferra Finna were disappointing. While they are very comfortable, I did not find them much more comfortable than my Egyptian cotton sets from L.L Bean (although I've had some major quality control issues with LL Bean that make me wary of ever buying them again). I definitely do not think they are worth 3x the price.
However, after being skeptical of other reviews, I have to say that the Giza 45 sheets are on a different level and by far the most comfortable sheets I've ever had. They are silky smooth while still being very breathable. They are so comfortable, any other sheets I sleep with, including the Finnas, are noticeably less comfortable. I ended up buying another set, because they're just that good.
For those who can afford the $1000+ price tag, I definitely recommend the Giza 45s. However, I still think that my Egyptian cotton sheets from LL Bean are very comfortable and for those looking for something less expensive I would recommend them over the Sferra Finna's just because of the price alone.
I am looking for sheets like I've experienced in hotels. Thick, heavy, and somewhat stiff maybe? They don't cling or wrap around you like most sheets purchased from department stores, despite some being advertised/branded as "hotel sheets".
Hoping for a clue where to find them for sale. Google hasn't been any real help.
I just bought the Intellibed Midnight and Tempur Pedic Ergo Extend Smart Base and now I'm looking for sheets.
I'm getting lost with all the different types of sheet, that are out there, but I'm guessing that these are my best option(s) -
-
Giza
-
Supima
-
Modal
-
Lenzing Tencel
-
Bamboo Lyocell
I don't know what my best option is, I just want something soft, breathable, and won't make me sweat my ass off, in the Miami Night.
Another thing that I'm having a big PITA finding, are any of these sheets in BLACK, with ULTRA DEEP pockets; my mattress is 17", so I need a 19" deep pocket.
I see that My Pillow makes a 100% Giza sheet, are they any good? But a problem there is, they don't make anything in black, it seems, and their fitted sheets are only 16", IIRC, so I'm SOL anyways, I guess.
Any help would be great 👍
I'm new to learning about bedding, and have decided to buy some new percale cotton sheets after reading about them on here. I've heard about a few good places to buy them, like The Company Store and Red Land Cotton. Any thoughts on these companies or any other recommendations? Also, what thread count should I be looking for? I've read mixed things on that
Edit: I don't have a budget
Update: Updated the list with more current results can't edit the image here but you can see it: here on Project page
I scraped comments from 70+ posts where people asked “what’s the best bed sheets?” (plus some big home and bedroom rec threads), then ran the whole pile of thousands of comments through an LLM pipeline to see which brands consistently get love vs. mixed reviews. Goal wasn’t just “most mentioned,” but also “most positively talked about.”
Method in a nutshell:
– Scraped 70+ “best bed sheets?” threads & home gear megathreads
– Ran GPT-5 + Gemini 2.5 to extract product names and classify sentiment
– Scoring = ~70% positive vs. negative differential + ~30% positive/total ratio
– Merged name variants so duplicates didn’t inflate scores (e.g., “Brooklinen Luxe Core,” “Brooklinen Sheets” → one entry) + some other nerdy sentiment tweaks that I won't bore you with
Would love your feedback! any sheet brands you think are overrated, underrated, or surprisingly good for the price?
I recently purchased Parachute percale and brushed cotton sheet sets (percale for warmer weather, and brushed cotton for colder weather). They're fine, but I'm not in love with them. Are there any better quality percale and brushed cotton sheet sets? My max. price point is around $500 for a King set (sheet, fitted sheet, and pillow cases).
I know that lots of people love the $1500+ SFERRA Giza 45 for percale, but I'm not ready to shell out that much for a sheet set yet.
1: sferra giza 45
2: matouk gatsby or bergamo
3: pratesi angel luxe or paradise
or maybe something less expensive like thomas lee percale or peacock alley lyric? im looking for something crisp. cant say im a huge fan of how light and airy sferra sateen is so id prefer something a bit more substantial but not necessarily thick.
ty in advance. ive since realized i prefer percale over sateen. not a fan of linen, too scratchy.
Also if anyone knows how to get blood off clean white sheets
current sheets:
sferra giza 45 sateen
matouk talita (which I got blood on, cleaning tips? hasnt been washed yet but the stains are months old now)
st geneve flora giza 45
red land cotton percale
american blossom percale
magic linen
I’m a very hot sleeper and am looking for new sheets/duvet bundle. I've heard of Boll & Brach, Brooklinen, Quince, LL Bean, Sferra etc. Can anyone give me any recomendaitons on the best? Looking to buy a bundle asap
