Hi, so back on my old moto phone I could just go to my currently open apps, and then hold down one of them to get the option to open the settings menu for that app
I now have a s22+ and whenever I hold down a currently open app, it just automatically does split screen. This is really annoying to me because I keep wanting to hold down the app to open it's settings menu
Is there a way to change my phone's settings to let me hold down open apps to get the option to open that apps settings menu? And if there's not, what is the expected way to open up the settings menu of a currently open app?

If you mean the menu from which you can force stop an app, open the Play Store page, uninstall, clear data, etc, long-press the app icon in your launcher. If you mean the actual app's settings menu, you do that from inside the app and it's different for each one.
