Is there anyway to find watch history of years ago (5-6 years)
MyActivity Youtube History search only shows results for search history
Is there any way to view my YouTube search history without also seeing watch history?
did you know you can view your comment history on youtube?
Videos
So basically there was this music video I used to watch frequently a long time ago and suddenly remembered it again. kinda wanna find the video again. Any idea on how I can find it?
Myactivity.google.com YouTube History has all my watch history, but using the search function only brings up results from my search history...
Does anyone know if this is intended or if there's a workaround?
Accessing my watch history on Youtube seems to only goes back a few months, so that's basically unusable.
So to view your YouTube search history you have to go to your Google account's activites but for some stupid reason, watch history and search history are clumped together and you can't filter it to show only one of them. WHY?! I remember a while back on YouTube you could view your entire search history right in YouTube's history section without having to go to Google's activities website. I understand that they probably changed it because they added a ton of other activity history options and it's easier to organize it all in another page but I don't understand how they have a ton of your YouTube activity history with stuff like purchase history, gift history yet they don't even allow you to view your search history in just one section. I just want to see my old YouTube searches and it's really hard to do that cause I have to sift through all the videos too!
What I don't understand is why no one is complaining about this. Does no one care about the searches they make? Sometimes I search for something just to save it and come back to it later so it's a useful tool for me to save stuff for later that doesn't involve specific videos or playlists.
I searched online for other people who have this same issue and if I could potentially find a solution for this but I found nothing which is very strange to me.
