Through GitHub Student, I was able to get a year free of my custom domain. I currently use various subdomains to route to things on my home proxmox server, but at some point I will professionally host a CS portfolio site on it. I currently use NAME.com, and i was wondering if it would be possible to switch over to CloudFlare at some point? Am I stuck with Name.com? What are y'alls thoughts on that provider?

I've been using name.com for ages for my domains and just point their NS to cloudflare. You can switch over if you want. I can't see a real benefit or drawback. Maybe cloudflare charges more for it's domains?
