I just bought the prestige pro 665 a few months ago. Here’s the thought process i went through to merit the price tag. I just built an outdoor kitchen with a pellet smoker also built in. I love doing reverse sear steaks, chops, tenderloins, as well as 1-2 min sear ahi tuna steaks. Given I went built in, I lose the side burners which also has me give up the famous sear station. Turns out the pro 665 can be upgraded to replace the far left burner with an infrared element. Works amazing for all the above! You’re looking at the slightly smaller although still large grill. The reason I didn’t look at the deliberate built in 700 series is because I read the quality of steel isn’t as good and it’s not made in Canada like the prestige/pro series. Next, the pro vs prestige. I’m a sucker for utility, so the interior lights in the pro were a nice addition and I don’t have to worry about wearing a headlamp while I cook. Other upgrades like the logo light projector and rgb knobs are pretty slick, but are definitely a party trick. Cooking wise, they have the same BTUs so they’re gonna act the same. The final differentiator is the grates are thicker and as a result heavier. I think the regular prestige already has decent thickness grates but the added heft of the pro grates may do better for heat retention. Btw, the polished bits that are on the pros lid feel a little tacked on like fake vents on a Buick. All in all, I like the little bells and whistles on the pro, and chances are if you’re looking at a built in model for an outdoor kitchen you haven’t skimped on much else, why skimp on the centerpiece? Just my thoughts

I have the Prestige Pro. Some things I like that are not mentioned here: The presitge is taller so The rotisserie will fit without removing the grates. The 1/2 griddle fits perfectly and replaces a grill grate.

I am giving up on my Broil King Baron and I am considering purchasing the Napoleon Prestige Pro 500 RSIB or a Phantom Prestige 500 RSIB I did a search in the sub but did not see much. Any heads up on these grills? The Prestige 500 RSIB is also an option.

Absolutely do it. I purchased my Napoleon Prestige Pro 665 RSIB (same grill, just the larger size) about a year ago. I LOOOOOVE it. Still, every time I use it I love it. It gets SO hot (900 degrees), the interior lighting is awesome, the infrared burner is out of control hot and it looks overall great with the illuminated knobs. It did take me half a dozen or so cooks to get the temperature knobs dialed in to where I want them because the Napoleon gets so much hotter than my old CharBroil, so just a heads up on that. I researched the hell out of grills before I bought via Youtube reviews. My favorite for Grill reviews is Embers Fireplace & Outdoor Living.
