February 3, 2022 - Like other parts of the design it is not just for looks, the wave design helps keep smaller things top side of the grill. Napoleon is a Canadian company that began life as a steel fabrication business in 1976. My review mentions “design” and “easy” a few times, so it comes as no surprise to me that Napoleon has lead the way with new and innovative patented technology across its ranges. The jury is out on whether the steel diffuser plate adds anything or not, I would lose that and include charcoal baskets which currently do not come as standard.

Hi Napoleon Grills community! I attended the HPBExpo last week (February 13-15) and Napoleon was there showing off their new charcoal grills. I got to check them out, see the features, and even take some pictures. Check out my thoughts here: https://www.angrybbq.com/new-napoleon-charcoal-grills-at-hpbexpo-24/. I have to say, I came away really impressed with the PRO 22” Cart. Plenty of cooking space and work space with the shelf. Plus those hinged wave grids are perfect for refueling while smoking. They do look good. I'm a Weber Kettle user, and on the surface the 22" Napoleon Cart looks like it's quite a bit better feature wise. I'd definitely be interested in trying one out.

Hi all,
it's the end of the season here in the UK and local shops selling grills with a discount so I thought I would finally replace my decade-old super cheap BBQ with something mid-range. So I've got a budget of about £300-£350, though perhaps can go higher (one particular Weber is 550 now)
Based on the research I've done there are basically 2 options:
Weber Master-Touch GBS E-5750 Charcoal Grill 57
Napoleon PRO Charcoal Kettle BBQ 57
Most of my friends around have Weber (some have Kamado Joe III, but that is way above my budget), and that makes Weber really appealing, but at the same time... call it whatever: betting on the underdog, not willing to overpay for the famous brand etc. On the practical side, Napoleon has a cast iron grid, which is, perhaps, better?
I'm seeking genuine advice, not a holy war, please.

Dark horse- is the slow n sear kettle available where you are? I own a Weber kettle premium but the SNS has a lot of really nice features

I own the Weber Master-Touch GBS E-5750. It's a great grill and hasn't let me down. But I would go for the Napoleon. Napoleon has a great reputation. The grill is more stable, has a good hinge, bigger capacity when smoking, a thermostat worht a damn. The downsides of Napoloeon over Weber is, less accesories from third parties. (Weber's ecosystems is great in that regard.) And a personally gripe, the cast iron grates. It think cast iron grates required too much maintanance for my liking, but they do have advantages.

With spring just a few months away, I wanted to share my experience with Napoleon BBQ Grills which are a high quality product that competes with Weber grills and are made in Barrie, Ontario. I have owned two Napoleon BBQs and have been impressed with the quality, durability and value in comparison to Weber grills.
You can see from reviews on YouTube that most Napoleon BBQ grill models are high quality and give better bang for buck compared to the competing Weber Model.
